In 2020, a generous donation from BISSELL Pet Foundation will help the Dierenbescherming to continue vital work with alley cats in The Netherlands, as they aim to reduce the population through spaying & neutering. The project called Trap Neuter and Return (TNR) allows the Dierenbescherming to enter problematic areas across the country, take the cats to be neutered at their locations, allow them substantial recovery time and then return them. This will then stop the population of homeless cats from increasing.
Because BISSELL is the home of floorcare, our colleagues spent a day using BISSELL machines to clean the Amersfoort Dierenbescherming shelter and get the place looking great for the pets and the colleagues. We also donated devices to help the staff keep up to the constant job of cleaning a shelter.
